Event Log Status is Red: EPS is zero. But Events are collected.

Hi everyone,

we are currently testing Supercharger. We installed Supercharger successfully and all our existing subscriptions are displayed and events are collected (Status for all subscriptions is green).

We use ForwardedEvents as the default event log collection. Looking into the Status tab in Supercharger it says:

Status: Red
EPS is zero.

But we are pretty sure events are collected. Also the graph in the Performance tab is showing a EPS rate around 140.

Looking into the Collector performance tab we also see a value about 140 EPS

Anyone can give an advice how where to start debugging?

Which version are you using? There was a bug in that status calculation, which was fixed just a few days ago in version 21.7.12. Could you please upgrade to the latest version from the website and let us know if you are still experiencing the issue? Thanks.

We have been experiencing the same issue for several versions.  We are currently on 21.7.12 and still experiencing it.  As you can see in the screenshots below, there is EPS is zero according to the status tab of the event log, but the graph tells a different story.

We have identified a bug whereas the event log status is not being updated. We will be releasing a fix soon.

Thank you Tamas!  That's very good news!
I wanted to attach another screenshot to show what all of the event logs on one of our WECs looks like.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

You can now download version 21.8.4 from the website. This version should fix the problem with event logs being red, even though there is EPS.

This update does not fix the chart issue reported by Walter.

Hey Tamas,

I might have missed something.  I don't see that Walter pointed out an issue with the graph.  I thought he was just showing that the graphs show events are coming in even though the event log status is showing zero EPS.

Thanks,

Jason
